Yep, it is good to see him on here. I had talked to him a while back and he said he was going to join. Glad he finally made it. I am sure lots of others will be glad too. ... Poor Opie, you just may have to get him a buddy. If you love dogs as much as I do, I know that will just break your heart....NOT! If that is his picture on this page, he sure is a cutie! I know you probably weren't thinking "Poor Opie" when you were moving those RR ties though. Honestly, I don't think I would have been either. Hope it was worth the effort and has helped with the digging out. ... Thanks for saying that about my Miss AL USA pics. That is very sweet of you. People kept asking me to see them so I finally posted them. Teen was 1983 and Miss was 1987, just a day or two ago. ... Have fun this weekend working on the baby stuff. If you can remember, take before and after pictures. You are lucky to have a painter in the family. My dad did that and he took me with him a lot. I still love to paint. It reminds me of my times with him. ... I checked the forecast. It looks pretty sunny at the moment. Maybe you will be able to fit that golf game in this weekend after all. ... Thanks for the Mother's Day wishes. How thoughtful of you! You are such a nice guy! I am sure Alli will appreciate a card. Please tell her I hope she is doing well and Happy Mother's Day from me too. I know you are both getting excited about July. I am excited for you. It will be here before you know it! Take care and have wonderful day and weekend. Hope it goes just the way you want...lots of baby stuff done and lots of golf! Talk to you soon.

DP....how are you. its time for the guys to get together again....you, murray,
chris, mark....like we did at Buffalo Wild Wings in '06. lets work on that.
i will see murray soon....hope your family is well.catch me up with them....
news-wise. this time of year makes me remember Mobile and winning the State Championship in ' 78. you, rusty, keith, bill humphries, jesse.
that team could have beaten some 4A-6A schools. we did beat a 5A school
the next year, Dora. your family was all so good to me in so many ways while i was at BP....i have never forgotten that, am still grateful. your dad was invaluable to our baseball teams and your mom allowed me to eat well on Sunday nights. and you were the best centerfielder i ever coached...you played a good shortstop, as well ...but in CF you excelled. you could have played at the next level. let me hear from you.

Hey the Mr. "D"! That is quite alright. You just reply whenever you get a chance. Sounds like you have been busy, busy, busy. I bet there is a funny story in the dog/fence thing somewhere. :-) However, just the sound of 8 railroad ties makes my back hurt. Ouch! I'm proud of you for going through all of that. You must love that dog...I know I do mine and would do the same thing if needed. ..... I am very thankful your dad is doing so well, Allison too. Sounds like she is busy too. ..... Glad you got to play golf again. Sorry you had to quit early but that storm was pretty bad. We made it through ok. It just messed up our phone lines. One was out for a day. They still have so much static you can hardly hear and more storms are on the way. Oh well, maybe they will be back to normal one day. .... Oh, today Christian is 18!!!! She is so excited! It is really kind of hard to believe. She keeps asking me how I feel about it. I am excited for her and I guess a little sad for me. I'm not nearly as bad off as I thought I would be. I think it is because she is not at college yet. Got to go pick up her cake. :-) Stay safe today and say hi when you can. (Oh, what is your dog's name?)

I would like for you to tell your mother and daddy how much and often that I think of them. They were always so very special to me. Every time that I pass your uncles's house on west beach I really think about them.

Hey there! I am so glad to hear from you and that everyone is doing well. Sorry work has been so busy but glad it was just work and nothing bad. I was getting worried about your dad since you had not been on here in a while. What I remember is how nice he always was and how much he loved you. Why else would he be there all the time? :-) Glad you got to play golf yesterday, and in t-town. It was certainly the perfect day for it, absolutely beautiful! Did you go to the A-day game? I thought about you and wondered if you were there. We had planned to go but it did not work out. First time we have missed in a while. ... Sounds like so much fun getting ready for the baby. I know it's lots of work too but it is such fun work! Don't worry about the baby needs. If Alli has a baby shower I bet most of them will be taken care of. Seems like I remember getting just about everything we needed at mine. I was really shocked and very thankful. I don't even remember taking anything back or exchanging much at all. Glad Alli is better! The baby kicking brings back so many memories. Right now they are such sweet little kicks ... about June they may not feel so good. Christian kicked the heck out of my ribs one time just before she was born. After I yelled, I laughed. It was really embarrassing and pretty funny - we were in a restaurant. :-) Well, guess I will let you go for now. Take care of yourself and everyone else. Hope you have a great week too and that you don't have to work too hard. :-)

Hey there! Hope you are doing great! Glad your dad remembered me and mom. See if you can drag him to the reunion. I would love to see him and I am sure lots of others would too. So good to hear his mind is sharp. I know it is rough when the body starts to go but it seems like doctors can help more with the body than the mind. Sorry to hear about your knees! Knee replacement next...OUCH!!!! I don't blame you, I would stick to golf too. Sorry none of your faves won The Masters - maybe next time. You sound like Jeff. He watches it all day too. I watch it - sort of. I watch it but get up and do other things. Not Jeff, he just sits there ALL day. ... You are right about dad. I am sure it is more beautiful than anything I could ever imagine. He loved to fish so if he can, I am sure he is up there fishing away - and catching ALOT! ... Sorry to hear Alli has a bug. Maybe she will feel better soon. I know it is hard to get well when you are pregnant b/c you can't take too many meds - or I couldn't. I will certainly say a prayer for all of you. Take care and have a great day!
