About me:

Went to Berney Points in 7th and 8th grade (78 - 80) and had a blast. Just found this site and saw some old friends that I've been wondering about for many years. Graduated from Midfield in 1984. Married in 1995 and lived in Oakland CA for 10 years. Moved back here in 2006. I have 2 daughters -- 9yrs and 5yrs.

So you just get to talking to people. My daddy has known your uncle a long time. I think from school in Jones Valley. Also my daddy had the gas station then liquor store in West End for 50 years. Daddy just sold the store and moved down here with mother in Aug. Then daddy had 3 bypass heart surgery in Sep. but he is doing great now. Wasn't their daughter killed in a car wreck when she was 16? The teacher in the photo is Mrs. Henderson. She has a daughter Amy (1988) and a son Matt (1992). Amy nor Matt were at the reunion. It started out as class of 1987 with Rachael and Susan heading it up. Both have brothers in class of 1986 so they included them. Then Parrie got involved and they asked class of 1985. Some others showed up but I hope the word gets out and anybody who went to BP can come. I really can't take credit for this page, my husband did all the work. He grew up in Fairfield then McCalla. He went to Bessemer Academy 7-9 grade then went to McAdory (1987). Did your aunt tell you Wolf Bay Lodge burned Sunday? Sad, it is really good food. It is about 2 miles from my mother's house.

Of course I remember you! Bill is good and we are living in Hayden. We hear from Curt Ransom on occasion who is still in touch with Doug and Allen. I think Bill has run into Dewayne a few times. Other than that, we have not heard a whole lot from the Midfield crowd. Maybe there will be a reunion sometime soon. Next year will be what?...... 25 years since ya'lls graduation? OMG! Can you believe it? It is good to hear from you and I will definitely tell Bill you said hello! Take care!
